Description: The granite ring is placed in a pool of water. To create high pressure, tight tolerances are used to close the gap between the granite ring and the stone pool. Due to this small gap, the water cannot escape out of the sides and must instead go out parallel to the direction the granite ring is rolling. The ring is slightly offset in order to make the water escape in a desired direction. This makes sure all of the water is used to efficiently roll the ring. The main purpose of the ball is to better display to onlookers that the ring is actually rolling. The ball rocks back and forth near the bottom of the ring as it rotates
